Prairie Winds Services, LLC started in 2012 with a single operator and trencher installing fiber optic and telephone services to developing residential subdivisions. Since then we have grown to be a leading player in all aspects of directional drilling (boring), hyrdovacing, and general excavation serving the oil field, commercial, and residential customers. We now operate bore machines of varying size capable of pulling pipe sizing from 2 inch to 36 inch , two hydrovac units of different capacity, and utilize a variety of excavation equipment from a skidsteer to a backhoe and large excavators. There is no underground construction job that is too big or too small.

President, Chad Norpel grew up in Dubuque, IA, but has considered himself to be a Williston, ND native since he has lived here for 19+ years. He has combined small, hometown values with a head for business to create Prairie Winds Services, LLC. Given his personal work history in factories, electrical, and construction, Chad is capable of bringing down-to-earth solutions to his customers.
